Jone Creek City Hall Christmas Tree Tradition Continues
It’s unfortunate. But many people in West Brazos think of Jones Creek City Hall, simply, as the place they have to go to settle the speeding ticket they got while driving a little too fast on Tx Hwy 36 on their way to or from Freeport.
But the true Godly Life of Jones Creek comes to light (literally) every Christmas season on the grounds of City Hall (7202 Stephen F. Austin ), and it always makes for one of the most festive Christmas displays in Brazoria County.
Once again, nearly two dozen Jones Creek businesses, civic groups, and families got together to light up Christmas trees in front of the building. And, once again, it’s Glory to behold. And that’s why it made our list of “must see” stops on your family’s Christmas light drive this year. (Want to know the others? Make sure you check out page 4 of our inaugural e-Edition.)
Below are just some of this year’s trees. Be we really encourage you to stop by and see the sights for yourself — a mug of hot chocolate in your hand while you stroll through the display might not be a bad idea, too.
